Kamba’s experience bridges the worlds of Purpose and Sport. Professionally, he is in wealth management, with a specialization of working with professional athletes. He focuses on ensuring their financial security so they can successfully transition to a post-playing life of significance. Prior to that, he had a decade of experience as an executive director running youth development nonprofits. In those roles, Kamba managed operations and headed fundraising efforts.
Additionally, Kamba was selected to chair the San Francisco Bay Area Super Bowl 50 Fund, the philanthropic arm of Super Bowl 50. The 50 Fund set a new standard as the most philanthropic and giving Super Bowl ever, investing over $13MM and strategically supporting the efforts of Bay Area nonprofits.
Kamba earned a Masters degree from the London School of Economics and a Bachelors degree from Stanford University. He received a scholarship to play basketball at Stanford and was co-captain of the Final Four basketball team.
