Robert has dedicated the last 20 years of his life to helping the world thrive through transformative business solutions ,innovative collaborations, and impactful coalition-building across industry, academia, regulatory agencies, and governments globally.
He is currently World Wide Director of Environmental Affairs at Amazon.
Prior to joining Amazon, Robert served as the Vice President and Global Head of Sustainability for Fossil Group where he created, developed, implemented and communicated Fossil Groups global sustainability program which aims to ‘Help the World Thrive’ through Empowered People, Enhanced Communities, and Doing More with Less and aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Net Positive operating principles.
In addition, he spent nearly 14 years at PepsiCo in various sustainability roles in the Global Public Policy and Government Affairs, Global Operations, and Frito-Lay Divisions. Robert developed, implemented, and operationalized PepsiCo’s sustainability programs across a broad range of initiatives partnering with global stakeholders, shareholders, and policy makers.
Prior to joining PepsiCo, Robert served in various governmental roles for what is now the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality, and has held several consulting roles.
He is an active member of his Church in Farmers Branch, where he lives with his wife and two daughters.
